ONE OF THOSE DAYS...

+ My in-laws are all in Hawaii this week. They're also going to the Bahamas next month. So are my parents. Can't someone please take us with?! ;)

+ Wearing my husbands garments today because all of mine were dirty. (TMI?) I know it's so gross.. but ya know, just being honest that it's really one of those days.

+ Rexburg is very cold and very windy.

+ Walking down an empty hall, I heard a girl shout, "Oh my! How are you?!" I looked up, thinking she was talking to me, "Hi! I'm doing good!!" ... only to realize she was talking to someone behind me.

+ I had to get a pap smear yesterday and I don't like them very much. But I guess hearing our babe's heartbeat was amazing so it made it worth it.

+ I may or may not delete this post because it's just a lot of information. Sorry guys!

Here's to tomorrow!

  1. Haha I love it! It's nice hearing I'm not the only one with "those kind of days". Hopefully tomorrow is better :)

  2. Madeline, I literally stayed in my pj's all day today. My sink is completely full of dishes, there's mud on my floor from my dogs (and husband) tracking it inside, and I got about two hours of sleep last night (Ezra decided he was a newborn for some reason). We all have them! Tomorrow is a new day. We get to start all over and decided exactly the kind of day we will have. You're adorable.
PS. Pap smears suck. So, so badly.
PPS. You NEED to get maternity leggings. Like, now. ;)

    1. Kaylie GOOD for you! Seriously, you're a mamma you deserve to have those kind of days. Haha i'm so sorry about getting no sleep though, that's something I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for! Thanks though, you are so sweet! And I just bought one pair! I haven't worn them yet but you believe I will be SOON! Have any favorite places to buy them??

    2. Mads! Check out the Motherhood stores.. I know they're in malls all over... but I also know how Rexburg is, you won't be finding one of those stores up there! Next time you're in town, there's one in Salt Lake/Sandy mall and I'm sure there's one in University. When Al Carraway was needing some maternity pants, we went there, and found her THE BEST pair of black maternity leggings. I tried some on too and fell in love, and ALMOST BOUGHT PREGNANT PANTS because they rocked that much. They weren't too pricy, either. You'll never wear anything else!

  5. Sounds like those awful rexburg winter blues are settling in. You're not alone. We all have those days. Perhaps next time I'm in Rexburg visiting family, we should get together and go out for lunch. That would be fun!
